I’m glad. I live in times of joy and peace.
I wake up, dress; I eat and brush my teeth.
I take a bus to school; no need to walk.
I have worry for my life: no fear.
I live with electricity and warmth.
There is no strife or arbitrary war.
I do not toil under slavery.
Stability is solid as a rock.
And yet complaints. Day in, day out they come,
like flying monsters, tarnishing the world.
I hear them from my mouth, the selfish things...
dissatisfaction raging like a gnome...
ingratitude from mouths of terror hurled...
what else can constant, tarnished spoilage bring?
WOW!! How long does it take you to write a sonnet? I mean, you just posted 3 or something, on in a night!
ReplyDeleteOn average 30 minutes. I normally write better during school - about 1/2 to 1 or sometimes even 2 per SURF period. So that's about 20 minutes? Trust me, it doesn't sound as impressive as it really is. Once you've written more than 150 sonnets...you can write them in your sleep even ;)
